1. Accepting these terms
By starting the bot, connecting it to a chat or group, or using the dashboard, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please stop using Komnot. You must also follow Telegram's own terms.
2. What Komnot does
Komnot checks links and file fingerprints for signs of scams, phishing and malware, explains the result in Khmer or English, and — when you allow it — warns or deletes dangerous messages. It does not read or judge the text of your conversations.
3. Results are guidance
Results come from automated checks and threat databases. They can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong, and new scams may not be detected yet. Komnot is a decision-support tool and should not be your only safeguard. Never send money, codes, or passwords just because a result says "clean".
4. Chat Automation and group permissions
When you connect Komnot through Chat Automation or make it a group admin, you authorise it to act on the permissions you grant: checking incoming links and files, posting warnings, deleting dangerous messages, and, on eligible plans, restricting accounts that share them. You are responsible for granting only the permissions you want, and, as a group admin, for telling members that the group is protected.
5. Business dashboard
Business customers may use the dashboard and reports only to protect their own organisation, staff and groups. You are responsible for informing your people and following the laws that apply to workplace monitoring. You must keep dashboard logins secure and must not share them outside your organisation.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't use Komnot to harass, deceive, or unlawfully monitor anyone.
- Don't try to overload, bypass, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to Komnot.
- Don't intentionally submit malware to attack Komnot or other people.
- Don't present a Komnot result as a legal, financial, or guaranteed security finding.
7. Plans, scans and payment
The Free plan and paid plans include a monthly number of scans shown on the Pricing page. Unused scans do not roll over. Paid plans are billed monthly and renew until cancelled; you can cancel before the next billing date and keep access until the end of the paid month. Business pricing scales with scan volume as agreed with you. Refunds follow applicable law.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of anything you send. You allow Komnot to process links and file fingerprints only as needed to run the checks, keep the service secure, and improve detection with anonymised threat data.
9. Third-party services
Komnot runs on Telegram and uses third-party hosting, payment and threat-intelligence services. We are not responsible for Telegram outages or for third-party services we do not control.
10. Suspension
We may limit or suspend access to protect users, stop misuse, comply with the law, or keep the service secure. Where practical, we will tell you why and how to contact us.
11. Liability
Komnot is provided "as available". To the extent the law allows, Komnot is not liable for losses caused by relying only on a result, by scams it did not detect, or by service interruptions. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
12. Intellectual property
The Komnot name, logo, bot, dashboard and website content belong to Komnot. These terms do not give you ownership of them.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Komnot grows and will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Komnot after an update means you accept it. Questions: komnotcambodia@gmail.com.
